Too many Miami residents lack access to a good job, decent housing, education, and health care. The 2008 financial collapse has only made matters worse. This year's unemployment rate in Miami-Dade is higher than ever recorded, while more than a third of working people do not earn a living wage. To better understand this situation, the community organization, 1Miami surveyed 887 residents from Little Havana to North Miami asking how they have been affected by the jobs crisis and what needs to change for their communities to prosper.
